The Arbitrage Rebate Compliance Services, introduced in 1987, and the Investment Management Services, introduced in 1988, became a part of the newly formed affiliate. In 1997, First Southwest Asset Management, Inc. expanded its services to include local government investment pool administration and currently serves as an administrator for the Texas Short Term Asset Reserve Program (TexSTAR) and the Local Government Investment Cooperative (LOGIC).

First Southwest Asset Management, Inc. employs over 20 professionals in the areas of arbitrage rebate, investment management, and pool administration. Additionally, First Southwest Company employs over 200 individuals including 64 public finance bankers.
